Bernardo Mountain and Piedra Pintadas Trail at Lake Hodges

The trailhead for Bernardo Mountain is in San Dieguito River Park, by Lake Hodges. It's a 3-4 hour hike, and about 6 miles.

La Jolla Tidepools Hike

I decided to check out the tidepools along the beachside cliffs of La Jolla. It's a scenic and beautiful hike which can be enjoyed year-round, but is best enjoyed at low tide. There are sea caves, and plenty of sea life all along the way.
