The Lakes Trail

The Lakes Trail was filled with beautiful pristine wilderness scenery all along the way. Late season snow in July made this trip even more interesting. On this trip I was on a mission to explore all the best trails of the park. Snow seemed to be lingering on the high peaks above 9000 feet, and the Lakes Trail was begging to be explored.

Tokopah Falls

I visited Sequoia Park in July of 2023, and travelled on several scenic trails, staying at Lodgepole Campground. The trailhead to Tokopah Falls begins at Lodgepole Campground in Sequoia National Park, just after crossing over the Kaweah River Bridge towards the rear of the campground.
